• Two SMI Standard Wizzards - These two Wizards just had all service completed and are ready to go.  They have a 15 HP fan, 10 HP compressor and 5 water rings.   Gun # 5579 5704 hrs. we are asking $8,000.  Gun # 5581  has 4913 hrs, asking $8000.  Both of these guns have a new nozzle configuration where we have put in larger nozzles and plugs. All the nozzles were done prior to last season and have been serviced for this season. The have about 100 hours on the 5581 nozzles and 340 hours on the 5579 nozzles They are located in NM. added July 2010

• York Snowmax injection system  - Snowmaking inducer machine, includes injection hose, and control computer.  Has manual or automatic modes.  Also 3 jugs of Avalanche inducer surfactant.  $1500.  NH added May 10
    

• K2000 snowgun on tripod $400 and Larchmont Z1 guns, $100 each without tripods (2 available) and $150 each with tripods (2 available) -  NH added May 10

• Omichron double head snowmakers, several available in CA.  Call for more details

• SMI Boyne snowmakers, on wheeled carriages, no compressors, set up for hill air, missing some nozzles but mostly intact in CA.  These are ideal for waste water evaporation.  Call for more details.

• Homemade Fan Snowmakers  - Mt Crescent in western Iowa  has several older home made fan snowmakers.  Some maybe early model Hedco snowmakers.  Many of these have not been used in a few years, some are set up for hill air and some have onboard air compressors.   These are ideal for waste water evaporation.

• Three Fan Jet Snowmakers  - These Fan Jet snowmakers are in the Pacific Northwest  and have not been run in many years.  Two are mounted on a wheeled carriage with a compressor.  The other is in parts but has a compressor.  All of them for only $1500, will not separate.

• Portable log lathes - Use your dead timber to turn logs for cabins and other uses at your ski area.  These machines are mounted on trailers and run on 3 phase 480 volts.  Both are in good operational condition.  Empire 3000 Log Lathe: A bigger, more powerful version of the Round Tec 9000 Lathe. $96,000.  2006 Log Lathe Round Tec 9000: Mounted on Pro Track trailer. 500 hours. Excellent running condition. A one-man, one-machine operation for building houses and anything with perfectly rounded logs. Rounding, notching, coping. No chinking needed. $79,000 with trailer.

• McKinney 20' Tower, 4 nozzle, estimated at 100 cfm,, lean out bracket missing, the LP lean out bracket will work with this gun. located at CHS $500

• Portable Snowmaking pumps - CHS Snowmakers has a portable snowmaking pump that is 3 phase 480 volts.  
25 HP horizontal booster pump with a flat flow curve, about 100 psi at 100 to 300 gpm, rebuilt in 2007, includes control panel, cord and fittings $3000.
50 HP horizontal booster pump just repaired and ready to go.  This pump will flow about 175 gpm at 200 psi or higher.  $5500

10 HP horizontal booster pump, good for about 60 gpm with good boost, in the shop getting rebuilt. $2500

CHS Snowmakers is looking for investors to open and operate a tubing hill and small terrain park in the Denver Metro Area.  Several locations to pick from with several million people in the Metro Area.  Snowmaking temperatures from November to March, snowfall averages 50" and snowmaking snow will last several weeks in the Denver Area even when temperatures reach 70° F.  Contact us for further details. Update 9/07 - We found potential sites but have encountered other legal issues with those sites.  If we find a good location we will post it here.
